4 New Television Commercials

Yesterday we wrapped principle photography on a new Hi-Def television commercial campaign working with The Bosworth Group, for Nason Medical Center.  Our first campaign with Nason went very well - the 2 television spots "BRAD" and "ADELE", are still running everyday and the feedback has been excellent.

These new commercials, titled "What Would You Do" will result in 3 x :30 spots and 1 x :15 second spot.

The first day we were on location in Summerville, then the second day we were at the spacious and decked out Nason Medical Center in James Island. Our 13 actors and actresses included my sister-in-law and her almost 2 year old daughter Emma Kate, who did so well - I am so proud of her. Quick mom....get her into acting school asap! It is quite amazing how (smart) young'ns can duplicate and well, act. (continued below)

Kacie, our make-up and hair artist had put a big bruisy bump on her forehead, which essentially really put Emma Kate in character....she frowned, cried, sobbed, all in the name of acting in this commercial. Yes, she required a jelly bean between every take however I knew she was a diva...... and it was worth it!

The Doc's at Nason were also "non-actors", and were cool and collected in front of the camera. Impressive! Actually Nason Medical Center in general is impressive. I cannot wait to get hurt..... I will definitely be at Nason now instead of my local ER. Why wouldn't anyone? Check them out.

This is the second bunch of spots we have photographed with the Canon 5DmIII, and it is really working out. With the right settings, lighting and and color grading the look is beautiful, filmic, dynamic. We definitely went high key on these. And per usual, we moved the camera plenty - lots of Kesller Crane shots, slider moves, etc.

Here are some behind the scene photographs. Look out for the running spots starting mid-late August.
